My daily driver: Manjaro GNOME, Kitty, LazyVim
Everything on this site runs on one machine. This is the short version of how it is set up and why.
The pieces
- Manjaro + GNOME: rolling updates without fighting the system every week.
- Kitty: a fast GPU terminal with tabs and splits, so tmux stays optional.
- zsh + Starship: a prompt that shows the git branch, language versions and exit codes at a glance.
- LazyVim for quick edits, VS Code for long sessions.
Keep it in git
All of it lives in a dotfiles repo, so a fresh install is one clone and a script away.
